Project Manager (m/w/d) Fuel Cell System Development

In addition to our Team, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/w/d) Fuel Cell System Development as soon as possible:

Job Purpose:

Management of customer projects for the development and integration of fuel cell systems:

  • You will be responsible for hardware / software development and integration.
  • You will be the driver and coordinator from the start of the concept to the finished product (proof of concept maturity and transfer to series development).
  • You are the central contact person both internally and on the customer side.
  • You are responsible for the preparation of market studies and for customer acquisition.
  • You create technical specifications and requirements documents.
  • Together with the teams, you identify and evaluate suitable system components.
  • In coordination with your colleagues, you will create and be responsible for the necessary project plans and ensure that they are adhered to, including deadlines, milestones, costs and maturity levels.
  • You will be responsible for the timely planning, coordination, monitoring of the test bench trials required for system qualification and homologation and coordinate the team accordingly. 
  • You coordinate your colleagues in the creation of test concepts for the fuel cell system, especially in the form of hardware-in-loop (Hil) as well as software-in-the-loop (Sil).
  • You are responsible for creating conditions in which HW and SW commissioning can be carried out independently of the project phase, for example in the event that an executable system is not yet available.
  • You will coordinate our suppliers and development partners with regard to technical, deadline and quality target achievement.
  • You will be responsible for testing and releasing the components, both in virtual validation and on the test bench.

Your Qualifications:

  • You have successfully completed a technical degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, physics, mechatronics or a comparable degree.
  • You have excellent project management skills, ability to work on your own initiative, ability to work in a team, independent problem identification and resolution and live an engaging work ethic.
  • You focus on delivering timely and carefully crafted deliverables with a strong talent for presentations.
  • You speak and write business fluent German and have a good command of written and spoken English.
  • You have basic knowledge of ISO 26262 as well as OBD.
